A wildfire in rural Siskiyou County near the Oregon border has grown to more than 1,300 acres, and containment is now scheduled for Saturday night. Today the fire is 75 percent contained and fire officials say they are in for another hot day. There are 730 firefighters on scene. No homes have been damaged, but fire engines are stationed at each structure. Meanwhile, fires in Southern California that have burned about 45,000 acres are expected to be contained today.
