Bail Set For Murder Suspect
Bail has been set at one million dollars for a man charged in the slaying of his estranged wife, a photographer for the San Jose Mercury News. Alameda County Superior Court Judge Jon Rolefson yesterday rejected the prosecution´s bid to deny bail for Raymond Houston. Houston is charged in the shooting death of Luci Houston. Her body was found on November 25th, wrapped in a blue tarp in the back seat of a car parked near an Oakland cemetery. Houston has pleaded innocent. He faces up to 50 years in prison if convicted.
