Thousands Still Without Power After Storm
Tens of thousands of people throughout northern California found themselves without power yesterday evening after stormy weather downed hundreds of power lines.
Pacific Gas and Electric says 186,000 of its customers have lost power since the storm hit last night. So far, 115,000 customers have had their power restored, while more than 70,000 customers are still without electricity.
The company is dealing with 427 separate outages in its territory, which extends from Bakersfield north to the Oregon border.
