Crews End Search For More Quake Victims

Officials have called off rescue operations in Paso Robles, saying they are fairly confident there are no further victims of yesterday´s deadly earthquake.

Ventura County Battalion Chief Scott Hall says crews searched through all damaged businesses in the area before the search was called off last night and found no new victims.

Two people died in the magnitude six-point-five quake. About 40 people received minor injuries. The quake devastated an historic clock tower building and damaged more than 40 other buildings. Crews will begin removing debris from those damaged buildings this morning.

The quake was felt from Los Angeles to San Francisco. It was followed by more than 50 aftershocks of magnitude three or larger.
