Driver Burned In Fiery Crash

A fiery crash on Highway 108 last evening seriously burned the driver of a truck.

The accident happened just before 6 p.m last night and was on the eastbound lanes of the highway near the “Rock Shop” curve, about half way between Jamestown and Oakdale.

When firefighters arrived the truck was fully engulfed in flames and fire had spread into surrounding grass but was quickly contained. A Mediflight helicopter was landed on the highway to transport the driver to Doctors´ Hospital in Modesto. His name has not yet been released.
