A former Oakland Raiders player is facing drunk driving charges following his involvement in a fatal car accident in Castro Valley.
The California Highway Patrol says Marv Hubbard was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence yesterday. Police say the Lincoln Continental Hubbard was driving slammed into another car and killed the driver.
Police say the man killed in the crash was making a u-turn on a two-lane road when the accident happened. Hubbard tried to swerve around the other car before they collided.
57-year-old Hubbard was a Raiders running back from 1969 to 1975. Hubbard appeared in three Pro Bowls while playing with the Raiders.
The man killed in the crash was identified as 72-year-old Arjan Singh.
