Most in the Mother Lode enjoy the fact that valley fog never reaches Jamestown, Sonora and especially Twain Harte. That wasn€™t the case this weekend. The cold, damp fog crept into the Mother Lode, enveloping the area in it´s misty grasp.
A dense fog advisory is still in affect for lower elevations and the valley this morning. The highway patrol advises motorists to use caution when driving in areas of dense fog, use low beam headlights and slow down.
Weather forecasters say the cloud cover in the region this morning should burn-off and we will see clearing skies for the remainder of the week.
