Merced County Student Shot At School

A 14-year-old Delhi High School student was shot in the hip this morning on the school grounds. Merced County authorities say the wounded student was being airlifted to a Turlock hospital. Authorities say the boy´s backpack may have saved his life. The bullet had to penetrate the bag before entering the boy´s hip.
Authorities are searching for a white Lincoln town car with two adult males.
