West Nile Virus Confirmed in Bay Area
Santa Clara County health officials Wednesday confirmed that a dead bird found in San Jose has tested positive for West Nile Virus.
It´s the first confirmation of the virus anywhere in the county.
West Nile Virus is one of a group of disease-causing viruses spread by mosquitoes.
Wednesday, the state reported four more human cases of West Nile Virus in the Southern California area, bringing the total to 32.
