California voters love Arnold Schwarzenegger — as governor, not as a future president.
The nonpartisan Field Poll finds that 65 percent of voters who were surveyed approve of Schwarzenegger´s job performance, a level unchanged since May.
But, by a two-to-one margin, voters say they wouldn´t support the Austrian-born governor if he ran for president.
Fifty percent said they weren´t inclined to vote for him — while 26 percent said
An even higher percentage of California voters — 58 percent — don´t support amending the U-S Constitution to allow foreign-born Americans to run for president.
