Wednesday at noon, Tuolumne County Peace Officers will pay tribute to there fallen comrades throughout the state.
Bells will toll, Taps will be played, and a memorial prayer offered.
The annual ceremonies take place at Courthouse Park in downtown Sonora. They will include the reading of a written message from Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, a 21-gun salute, and a fly-over, as well as the roll call of fallen officers by local law enforcement agencies such as the Sonora Police, Tuolumne County Sheriff, CHP, U.S. Federal agencies and the State Department of Corrections.
The event is open to the public.
