Sonora, CA — PG&E crews are working to restore service to area residents who lost power during last night´s storm.
Spokeswoman Emily Barnett says, at one time, as many as 700 customers were knocked out by dozens of outages across the region. Most of those customers are now back online.
PG&E crews will be working throughout the day to restore power to the remainder of those affected.
The hardest hit area was located northeast of Sonora in the Phoenix Lake, Big Hill, Camp Sunshine, Mono Vista, Belleview Oaks and Sonora Meadows areas.
Barnett says most of the area´s residents should have power back by the end of the day.
Weather forecasters are predicting more severe conditions throughout the week as other weather systems approach.
