Nearly 16 million eligible to vote on Tuesday
Sacramento, CA — Nearly 16 million Californians are eligible to vote in Tuesday´s special election.
The secretary of state´s office says 15.8 million people were registered to vote by the October 24th deadline. That´s up from the 15.3 million Californians who were
registered to vote in the 2003 special election that recalled Governor Davis and elected Arnold Schwarzenegger to replace him.
But it´s below the 16 and a half million Californians who were registered to vote in last November´s general election.
