Sacramento, CA — President Bush will visit California this week for the second time in two months, but he and Governor Schwarzenegger are not expected to see each other, again.
The Republican governor is trying to court independents and Democrats to support a string of his ballot proposals for the November eighth special election, two groups of voters that polls show loath Bush.
Schwarzenegger will not attend a dedication ceremony Friday at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library for an exhibit featuring a Boeing 707 that carried seven presidents.
The governor is also skipping a Republican National Committee fundraiser in Los Angeles on Thursday. Bush will be at both events. Schwarzenegger also was conspicuously absent when Bush last made a swing through the state in August.
