Worlds of Wonder Mobile Library Announces Fall/Winter Route

The Tuolumne County Library´s Worlds of Wonder, mobile library, takes books for all ages, plus story times, music cd´s and recorded books throughout rural areas of the county year-round. The public is welcome to visit general community neighborhood stops such as Don Pedro Market, Columbia Post Office and Willow Springs Club House. In addition, the library schedules visits to pre-schools, senior assisted living facilities, community events and health programs on request. Following is the general fall/winter route plan which extends October through April:

-Belleview School, Kewen Mill Rd 1st and 3re Wednesday 10am-noon

Campus visit, not open to the general public.

-Casa de Viejos, Charbroullian Lane, Jamestown 2nd and 4th Tuesday 1:30-2:30 pm

Senior Citizen Residence, not open to the public

-Chinese Camp School, Redhills Rd 4th Monday 2:30-4pm

Sept – May with Fun on Wheels Recreation Van

-Columbia Elementary School 1nd and 4th Wed. 2-4 pm

October – April with Fun on Wheels Recreation Van

-Columbia Sky Mobile Park Green Street 2d Tuesday 10-noon

-Columbia Post Office 2d & 4th Saturdays 10-noon

-Chrystal Falls Tennis Courts 2nd and 4th Thursdays 2:30-4pm

Fun on Wheels Recreation Van

-Don Pedro Market , Bonds Flat Rd. Mondays 10:30-4pm

except 4th Monday leaves at 1:30pm for Chinese Camp

-Jamestown Youth Center 1st & 3d Tuesday 3-4 pm

-Jamestown Preston Lane Apts 2d & 4th Saturdays 1-3 pm

-Long Barn Post Office 2d & 4th Wednesdays 2-4 pm

May-Sept weather permitting

-Skyline Place Sylva Lane, Sonora 2d & 4th Tuesdays 3-4 pm

-South Shore Lake Tulloch Market 1st Tuesday 10:30-noon

-Tuolumne Me-wuk Rancheria 1st & 3d Thursday 2-4 pm

The summer route starts in May and runs through September, extending into the high country. The mobile library observes official county holidays, and all schedules are subject to chan-ge due to road conditions. Please contact the library 533-5507 during regular hours to verify specific schedules.
