Copperopolis, CA — A Lodi man is in custody after what Calaveras County Sheriff´s Deputies say was a routine traffic stop Friday night.
The Sheriff´s Department says a car driven by 37-year-old Arthur Duivenvoorde was pulled over on Highway 4 near the Stanislaus County Line for an equipment violation at about 11 PM.
Deputies say Duivenvoorde was driving on a revoked license and the car was registered as non-operative.
A search of the vehicle reportedly turned up two small plastic bags of an unknown white powder that later tested positive for methamphetamine.
Duivenvoorde was arrested and booked on several drug charges and a weapons charge.
Bail was set at $60,000.
