Getting rid of Hazardous Waste is big in Sonora.
At least that has been the message that local residents and business owners are sending to Tuolumne CountySolid Waste Division. In all, there will be 6 opportunities for Hazardous Waste drop off throughout the year. There are 4 events scheduled in Sonora and 2 in Groveland. Tomorrow´s event in Sonora, which is the first event this year, is by appointment only and has already sold out.
In response to popular demand, there will be 5 more drop off days. One each month through September. All of these are posted on the MyMotherLode.com Calendar. All Sonora drop off days are by appointment only and are bound to be popular so be sure to get an appointment early. Drop of days in Groveland do not require an appointment.
