Sacramento, CA — Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger says the state´s economy is on the rebound.
The governor used his Saturday radio address to say that California has seen what he calls “great results” from recent worker´s compensation reform. He said since the beginning of last year the state has created 300,000 new jobs as a result.
A reform program introduced by the governor last year prompted a 17% drop in worker´s compensation costs.
The state is also recommending that insurers drop their rates by an additional 10% in the next few months.
