Day Two Of Roundup Starts Out Soggy
Sonora, CA — Umbrellas and rain slickers are the order of the day for the second day of the Mother Lode Roundup festivities.
General Captain Al O´Brien says turnout for the Mother´s Day breakfast was rather light due to the weather.
Meanwhile crews are getting the rodeo arena ready for the second day of action. On tap for today are the kids events followed by the P.R.C.A. rodeo at 2:00.
Events to be held today will be Team Bronc Riding and Tie Down Roping followed by Bare Back Riding. Also on the agenda is Saddle Bronc Riding and Steer Wrestling, followed by the Calf Scramble, Team Roping, Women´s Barrel Racing and Bull Riding.
An award ceremony to name the all-around champion is also slated to take place after the rodeo.
