Heart Attack Caused Fatal Accident On Hwy 132

Waterford, CA — Four men were killed after the SUV they were riding in collided head-on with a gravel truck on Highway 132 Thursday.

According to the Stanislaus County Coroner, the driver of the SUV suffered a heart attack just before the accident.

62 year old Fred Randall was driving a Jeep Cherokee when authorities say it veered across the center line into the path of the truck shortly after 8:30 in the morning.

The other three men involved in the accident were 76 year old Lawrence Marsden, 93 year old Robert Shelton, and 75 year old Donald Shlemon.

CHP says the crash closed a 2 1/2 mile stretch of the highway east of Waterford for more than 5 hours.
