Governor Proposes $122 Billion Budget
California Governor Jerry Brown introduced a $122.6-billion budget proposal that he says will increase spending on education, healthcare and infrastructure. In addition, it would increase the state’s rainy day fund by $2-billion. It is California’s largest budget proposal on record, an increase of nearly $8-billion from the current fiscal year’s $115-billion budget.
