West Side Railroad Trail
Join us twice a week to explore the variety of wildflowers blooming from March to May along the West Side Railroad Trail. Explore the dirt trails at your pace—Walk, Stride, Amble, Trek or Stroll.
Walking is an easy way to move more. Add walking to a weekly routine allows one to experience the many benefits of moving more and getting outside. This class is offered to encourage people of all ages in the community to get out and be more active.
The open trail is an old railroad track that has been converted into a multi-use trail for walkers, hikers, runners, bicyclists and horseback riders. Dogs on a leash are also welcome.
The dirt trail is wide and primarily level. At the mile point, the trail narrows with a portion of the old railroad is still in place for about 1/3 of a mile.
