Dove Hill Ranch
It’s THE PARTY of the season to raise funds for the Calaveras Youth Mentoring Program! Tad and Jane Bottomley-Winans have offered their gorgeous Dove Hill Ranch as the perfect setting for an outdoor event.
As the crowd gathers, THE PARTY will start with a bid to sit at two special themed tables, “Alaska” and “Hawaii.” The two tables for ten will be a sight to behold, adorned with ceramic and other art pieces including handmade napkin holders, a chainsaw bear, and other fantastic things. Winners will be treated to full, personal table service and complimentary wine, and will be provided containers in which to carry home any and every decoration they desire to keep.
The dinner menu features mouthwatering New York strip in the barrel; cheese tortellini with sun-dried tomatoes in a creamy pesto sauce; spinach salad with strawberries, feta cheese, walnuts, red onion, dried cranberries and raspberry vinaigrette dressing; fruit salad; and French bread with butter, provided by Hook & Barrel catering.
There some wonderful surprises in store at THE PARTY as well! A once-in-a-lifetime local adventure opportunity has been donated for a single-item live auction. (Details will be coming soon.) Revelers can purchase raffle tickets, bid in the silent auction, and secure keys that might open one of two treasure chests to win a cruise for two to Alaska or Hawaii. Winners will be announced throughout the evening by local emcee extraordinaire Dave Bowman.
As the beautiful sunset wanes and stars begin to fill the night sky (it will be a new moon,) popular Bay Area band The Groove Doctors will roll out their irresistible song list to get everyone dancing on the expansive outdoor patio. This is The Groove Doctors’ first appearance in Angels Camp; they have been called “amazing,” “spectacular,” and “HOT HOT HOT” as a dance band!
Reservations for THE PARTY are $50 per person, or $450 for a table of ten, available at CalaverasMentoringFoundation.org, or by contacting the Calaveras Mentoring Foundation at 209-736-7706 or email@example.com. Tickets can also be purchased from Kathryn Eustis at the Calaveras County Office of Education.
