Are you 60 years or older? Are you feeling down, “blue” or depressed? The University of California, San Francisco, working in partnership with Catholic Charities of Sonora, received a 1.8 million dollar grant from the National Institute on Health to study different interventions for treating depression in older adults living in Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties.
Qualifying individuals would be eligible to receive 12 weeks of case management with problem solving therapy in your home or 12 weeks of supportive self-guided problem solving therapy in your home. You will also be asked to participate in assessment interviews over the telephone throughout your participation in the study. You will be compensated for the time spent participating in the interviews.
This is a FREE service.
