Lyons Dam Turn Off
All of us want to play in the snow! It’s been so many years since we had a good romp in the winter wonderland.
Often people forget their broken sleds, food trash, and lost mittens. Anything forgotten on our slopes ends up in our drinking and swimming water and hurt our wildlife.
Please join us on January 24th 9am at the Lyons turnoff as we celebrate how wonderful it is to have public lands to play in and clean up the forgotten sleds along State Highway 108 from Twain Harte to Strawberry and State Highway 4 from Hathaway Pines to Bear Valley.
Keep an eye on the weather. It’s supposed to snow on Sat. Wear appropriate clothing and drive proper vehicles, we’re not here to add to the mess.
Please park in a designated parking area. Carpooling is highly recommended.
Please feel free to invite others. Let this message spread.
