Presented by Michael Wurtz Michael is the Archivist of the John Muir Papers Collection at the University of the Pacific. He will speak about John Muir’s three visits to Calaveras Big Trees and his other visits to the Sequoias of the Sierra. Mr. Wurtz organized the Park’s archives in 1991 and his parents were docents at the Park All Seminars will be held in Jack Knight Hall at Calaveras Big Trees State Park from 10:00 am-12 noon
There is a day-use fee to enter the Park. The seminars are free and open to the public. Pack a lunch, bring the family and plan on spending the day among the Giant Sequoias.
