2016 Distinguished Darcy Lecture Seeing Things Differently: Rethinking the Relationship Between Data, Models, and Decision-Making
Dr. Ferre’s (fer-ray’s) lecture is about hydrologic models used to support decisions for watershed management. Finally, he will show that focusing hydro-logic analysis on the specific, practical problems of interest can guide optimal measurement selection, ad-vance hydrologic science, and improve the integration of science into economic and policy decisions.
