SCHEDULED IN SONORA
Are you looking to give back to your community? With so many recent disasters across the country, have you wondered what it would take to become a Red Cross volunteer? Now is your chance to find out!
Locally, Red Cross volunteers respond to those displaced by home fires, set-up and operate shelters when emergency events occur, host safety and disaster preparedness events, work with fire departments to install smoke alarms in at-risk communities, teach emergency preparedness to schoolchildren, and work in blood donation centers.
If you are interested in becoming a Red Cross volunteer, we invite you to register at redcross.org and complete orientation which is scheduled for Saturday, January 20, from 10 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. at the Sonora Donation Center, 850 Sanguinetti Rd., Sonora, CA 95370.
