The Tuolumne County Historical Society will host the premiere documentary by This ‘n That Films, about the 88 days Mark Twain spent in the Mother Lode in the winter of 1864-1865. This FREE event will include crafts and storytime for kids 2:00-5:00 pm. Kids are welcome to come dressed up like Tom Sawyer, Huck, or Becky. Fine art and photography will be on display 2:00-8:00 pm. A PowerPoint presentation will begin at 6:30 pm discussing the filming of the documentary, followed by the “88 Days in the Mother Lode, Mark Twain Finds His Voice” at 7:00 pm. Refreshments will be available.
