6/25 – Common Birds of the Sierra Nevada, presented by Barry Boulton. Learn about birds and their behaviors.
7/2 – A Rocky History, presented by Prof. Jeffrey W. Tolhurst. Learn how the Sierra Nevada mountains were formed and other fun geology information that you can see first-hand in our area!
7/9 – Batty about our Insect-Eating Friends, by NorCal Bats. Come see live bats and learn about these important forest friends!
7/16 – Fires in the West, presented by Carly Gibson, Resource Information Specialist for Stanislaus National Forest. Take a closer look at the importance of fire in our ecosystem.
7/23 – Python Ron. Ron McGee brings a reptile adventure and shares his passion for these amazing creatures.
7/30 – Stepping into Wilderness, presented by Joel Silverman, Forest Wilderness Manager. Learn about our wilderness areas, what makes them special, and how you can help to keep them wild.
8/6 – Fire & Floods: Nature’s Power in our National Forests, presented by Scott Tangenberg, Deputy Forest Supervisor. Take a look at California’s recent fires and the powerful floods that followed them.
