Mark your Calendars!! The Tuolumne County Master Gardener annual Garden Tour will be held Sunday, May 31, 10:30am – 4:00pm. This year the theme is ‘Changing Times, Changing Gardens.” and will include six sites, demonstrating three themes:

*Home Gardens: One in the Phoenix Lake Estates area of East Sonora and one in the Horseshoe Bend area of Columbia

*School Gardens: Waldorf School and Sonora High School’s Wildcat Ranch

*Public/Education Sites: Cassina Demonstration Garden and the Innovation Center on Hospital Road.

Proceeds from the tour provide master gardener scholarships for Columbia College students, purchase gardening reference books for the Tuolumne County Library and the master gardener library, and provide operating funds for the demonstration garden.

Tickets are $10.00, available at Columbia Nursery (Parrotts Ferry Road), Sonora Lumber (Washington Street), Nature’s Whole Food Depot (Standard), The Nest (Twain Harte), Antiques Etc.(Washington Street, Sonora) and the U.C.C.E Office (52 North Washington Street, Sonora) On-line tickets are available at http://ucanr.edu/tuolumnegardentourtickets2015
