Evergreen and Rush Creek Lodges
The Telele Foundation is excited to announce the 4th edition of Localizing California Waters! The conference will be November 1 – 3 at Evergreen and Rush Creek Lodges. This year presents a special opportunity to help shape critical water policy in California. By bringing together state and local governments along with water advocacy groups and landowners, the conference creates an ideal space for collaboration.
Speaking this year will be Jay Lund of UC Davis Watershed Science Center, Martha Davis of Inland Empire Utilities Agency, Debbie Franco with CA Governor’s Office of Planning and Research, Art Ludwig, an international greywater design consultant and many more. Check out the full lineup of speakers at http://californiawaterreuse.org/agenda.php.
While the drought has been declared over, we all know water scarcity will continue to be a major issue in West. We are at a pivotal moment when new water saving techniques can help change and format state policy to benefit waterways while still protecting water rights of land owners.
Evening activities include a wine social with the band Burnside on Wednesday 11/1 at Rush Creek and Incendio in the tavern at Evergreen Lodge on Thursday 11/2.
