KASA KAMPS offer students from 7 to 14 the opportunity to learn fundamental techniques in a variety of art forms and foster in them a love for art, music, dance, theater and culture . . . It offers students an intensive, fun, arts experience. KASA teachers are working artists and seasoned educators who have a passion for teaching art to children.

The exciting theme of this year’s KAMPS will be a Native American tale from California.
During our FIRST SESSION, students will have the opportunity to create MASKS AND HEADDRESSES based on their favorite characters from our myth. They will then have the opportunity to bring their characters to life through movement and shadow puppetry.
Our SECOND SESSION, will focus on visual storytelling as students are guided through the process of creating ANIMATED VIDEOS based on their favorite characters from our myth.
From character design and story boarding to set fabrication and sound effects, students are sure to enjoy this action-packed week of creative fun!
Both sessions will conclude with a live presentation of student work for family and friends.
