Sunday, April 26, is the 28th annual InFocus Photography Competition & Exhibition
Reception and Awards Ceremony. This year the event is at Angelo’s Hall, 22760 Main Street, Columbia, CA. The doors open to the public at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday for early viewing. The reception, featuring appetizers and wine from local businesses, is from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Nationally respected photographers Joan Bobkoff, Kim Komenich and Art Rogers are the show’s jurors and one or more of the judges may be present at the reception. The exhibition will be open for one week only, from Monday, April 27, through Saturday, May 2, from Noon to 5:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 3, from noon to 3:00 p.m. Parking is free. Included this year is a new feature, a digital show of the more than 300 photographs that were submitted for entry into the show.
In conjunction with the InFocus Photography Exhibition several InFocus Committee members have
placed art in the Tuolumne County Library for viewing. This display is part of the Arts Alliance program called “Art on the Move,” a project that places art in public places including the Stage 3 Lobby, Umpqua Bank, Stockton Savings and Tuolumne County Library. The exhibits change periodically.
