The U.S. Forest Service is enlisting the help of the public to plant 90,000 trees this coming spring, 2016, in the Rim Fire Area. Please come to one of the four Community Volunteer Tree Planting Information Sessions to learn how easy it is to make a difference. We need your help to reforest the areas that won’t grow back on their own! Thursday, January 14th at 6pm at the Stanislaus National Forest Headquarters; Saturday, January 16th at 3:00pm at the Stanislaus National Forest Headquarters; Thursday, January 21 at 7pm at the Groveland Community Hall, Main Street, Groveland; and Saturday, January 23 at 3:00pm at the Stanislaus National Forest Headquarters.
