Stanislaus National Forest, Forest Supervisor's Office

The Rim Fire of 2013 burned over 257,000 acres of private and Federal lands, with nearly 158,000 acres on the Stanislaus National Forest. The U.S. Forest Service is enlisting the help of all available members of the public to help plant 90K trees this coming spring, 2016, in the Rim Fire burn area. We need your help to reforest the areas that won’t grow trees on their own. Please come to one of the four Community Volunteer Tree Planting, Information Sessions to learn how easy it is to make a difference.
