Calaveras Community Foundation Competitive Grants Deadline 02/15/16

Calaveras Community Foundation (CCF) announced in early January the competitive grant cycle for 2016. Timing is of the essence at this point with completed grant applications due on Monday, February 15th. Complete details, application guidelines and fillable forms are all available at www.calaverascommunityfoundation.org. If you have further questions or concerns, call the CCF office at (209) 736-1845 or email: info@calaverascommunityfoundation.org.

CCF is, again, focusing on initiatives. The three initiatives are:

1) Aging in Place for Seniors;

2) Support for Learning of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) and

3) Cultural focusing on projects that enhance our County’s culture through art, music, theater, history, dance and other cultural activities.

Funding for these grants is from the Foundation’s General Grant Fund. This process is separate and freestanding from the application process for funding from the Disaster Relief Fund that benefits the Butte Fire victims.

Applications began to be accepted on January 15, 2016 and must be submitted to CCF via email by 5:00 PM on Monday, February 15, 2016. ALL applications for competitive grants MUST address one of the three initiatives to be considered for funding. Complete details, application guidelines and fillable forms are available on the CCF website www.calaverascommunityfoundation.org in the “Grants and Scholarships” area. CCF’s email address is: info@calaverascommunityfoundation.org.

Loyal individual donations and corporate partners’ generosity allows CCF to continue to fund viable projects that benefit our county residents, students and seniors. Since it’s inception in 2000, CCF has provided more than $1,000,000 in competitive grants, scholarships and assistance. The Foundation administers dozens of charitable funds for scholarships and other worthy causes.
