AGENT set to ROCK the Fundraiser for Ava on Sunday November 6th at the Tuolumne Veterans Memorial Hall
Ava is the precious grand-daughter of Tuolumne resident musician Greg Knoll. She has been diagnosed with Langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH), which occurs when the body accumulates too many immature Langerhans cells which can form tumors or damage organs. For Ava, the disease attacks her skull and puts small holes in it. To battle the disease, Ava is receiving chemo therapy treatments.
“She gets sick during the treatments”, said Knoll “but she is just a normal kid most of the time”.
Greg recently reached out to several Northern California bands to provide entertainment at the “Benefit For Ava” Concert being held this Sunday – November 6th – from noon until about 5pm at the Tuolumne Veterans Memorial Hall.
The band AGENT will be performing, along with several other acts including Knoll’s former band “Crazy Ivan”, “The Blonde Tells”, and a special guest appearance by Willie Hines (formerly of “The Lights” and “Jet Red”). All of the bands have donated their time and talent for this event. Proceeds will benefit Ava’s family, to help defray the cost of medical expenses and treatments.
AGENT is a very popular Northern California 4-piece band that consists of an all-star lineup of seasoned music industry professionals that recreate the vocal and musical complexity of some of Rock N Rolls greatest hits! Their music catalog includes 70s and 80s classics from The Beatles, Journey, Foreigner, Loverboy, Prince, The Cars and many others!
Please plan on joining us Sunday November 6th, from 12pm until 5pm, to help raise money for the family. Raffles and other donation opportunities will be available.
