U.S. Marshall Arrested For Driving Under The Influence

Sonora, CA — Early Sunday morning, a Tuolumne County sheriff´s deputy stopped a Deputy U.S. Marshall, 33 year old Eric Dale Beyersdorf of Las Vegas, for his erratic driving as he entered the Sonora city limits.
At 2:26AM Sonora Police had received a call from a citizen that a vehicle had almost hit his vehicle head-on on Hwy 108.
Once the driver was located, the sheiff´s deputy turned the stop over to Sonora police. That officer then administered a field sobriety test to Beyersdorf which he failed. Beyersdorf was placed under arrest for drunk driving and was booked into the county jail.
