Sonora, CA — A memorial service will be held this afternoon at two o´clock at Sierra Bible Church for seven year old Ian Campbell, Jr.
The Soulsbyville Elementary first grader was killed Monday evening when he skateboarded down his steep driveway into the side of a moving pickup truck on Charlotte Court in Willow Springs. Campbell´s skateborad proceeded under the truck … it was the left rear tire that inflicted the fatal injuries.
Tomorrow from 9AM to 3PM a number of civic groups will sponsor a car wash at the Sonora Wal Mart with all proceeds going to the youngster´s family.
Donations for the family may also be made at the Oak Valley Community Bank on Mono Way.
