Round Up Queen To Be Crowned Sunday

Sonora, CA — A new queen will be crowned Sunday to reign over the Mother Lode Round Up for 2006.
After competing in the Horsemanship competition at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds Saturday morning, the four contestants will participate in the Queen Pageant at the Sonora Elks Lodge at 5:00pm.
The contestants are 21-year-old Marjaliisa Nisser, 18-year-old Drew Kermeen, and 17-year-old Rikki Green of Sonora, and 16-year-old Alicia Meikle of Twain Harte.
At the pageant, 2005 Round Up queen Kim Silva will be the commentator.
