Cogdill Recognized By Sheriffs

Sacramento, CA — Assembly member Dave Cogdill has been named Outstanding Assembly Member for 2005 by the California State Sheriffs´ Association.
He received the award Friday for his support on public safety and law enforcement issues.
Calaveras County Sheriff Dennis Downum said Cogdill has been a tremendous support in securing rural county crime money.
He´s been a go to person, Downum added.
This is the second time Cogdill has received the award.
Cogdill represents the 25th Assembly District, which includes Calaveras and Tuolumne counties.
