Sonora Woman’s Car Impacts Tree Causing Major Injuries

Sonora, CA — The cause of the accident that has a 46 year old Sonora woman in the hospital is still unknown.
The California Highway Patrol says Susan Beyelia was traveling southbound on Airport Road Friday afternoon when she allowed her Dodge Neon to drift off the roadway.
CHP reports indicate the driver took no evasive action before hitting a large Oak tree.
Beyelia was pinned inside the car and had to be extricated by EMS. She was flown by helicopter to Modesto with major injuries.
