Free Tuition At Stanford

Stanford, CA — Stanford University officials have announced that some students will be able to secure a four year degree with absolutely no tuition expense.
Students from families with annual incomes of less than $45,000 won´t have to pay to go to school. Students from families with incomes up to $60,000 will have a reduced tuition of approximately $3,800.
A Stanford official says the university has introduced the plan to encourage talented low-income students to consider the university.
Some eleven-hundred students will now be eligible for the free or lower tuition including those already enrolled. That plan takes effect this fall.
