Account Established To Help Twain Harte Stroke Victim

Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA — A bank account has been set up at the local Wells Fargo branch to benefit a Twain Harte man who suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm and a massive stroke over the Christmas holiday.

The “Union Democrat” reports that 48-year-old Randy Hayes suffered the rupture at his home on the evening of Christmas Day.

He was reportedly transported by ambulance to Sonora Regional Hospital where he later suffered the stroke.

A severe storm in the area that night made it impossible for Hayes to be flown to Stanford University Medical Center to be seen by a neurosurgeon. Instead he apparently had to be transported by ambulance to Modesto, and then flown to San Jose before going to Stanford.

Hayes underwent surgery for one aneurysm, but doctors say it´s too dangerous to operate on another one in Hayes´ brain. He remains in critical condition.

Anyone wishing to make a deposit can do so at Wells Fargo, account number 395420 1632.
