Tuolumne County Supervisors Return After Two Week Hiatus

Sonora, CA — Inclusionary housing and a vote on purchasing private property for the proposed Law and Justice Center are the key issues that will be addressed by the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors today.

Both these issues will be discussed following the noontime 90 minute lunch break.

At 1:30 the Board will discuss the “5-10-15” inclusionary housing issue that has been promoted by ATCAA´s Housing Resources Director Beetle Barbour, George Segarini of the Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce and Jim O´Neil of the Housting Affordability Task Force.

The Law and Justice Center presentation and posible vote on the $4.2 million purchase of private property for the campus is scheduled to follow the inclusionary housing issue. Property must be purchased if the county has any hope of receiving 75% of jail funding from the state.
