Groundbreaking On Angels Camp Bypass

Angels Camp, Ca — Work has begun on the $23.8 million Angels Camp Bypass.
Speakers at Friday´s groundbreaking ceremony included Lt. Governor John Garamendi, Calaveras Council of Governments Executive Director Tim McSorley, Angels Camp City Council member Lee Seaton and former City Council member Curly Middleton.
“Like building a new house, that first day is the special day,” says Seaton. “We´ll look forward to this project moving forward and delivering a real solution to congestion in the heart of Calaveras County.”
Teichert Construction of Sacramento is in charge of the project.
