Two Vehicle Accident Temporarily Closes Hwy 26 Near Valley Springs

Valley Springs, Ca — There was a two vehicle accident on Hwy 26 that has temporarily shut down the highway just west of Valley Springs.
According to the CHP, there are major injuries reported, however, none are said to be life threatening. Avoid Hwy 26 near the Nicholls Rd. intersection if at all possible. The road is expected to re-open shortly, but you should still expect a delay this afternoon due to emergency crews on scene.
