New Elections Coordinator On Board In Calaveras

San Andreas, CA — Christine Fouts of Copperopolis has been announced as the new Calaveras County Elections Coordinator.
County Clerk Karen Varni introduced Fouts to the Board of Supervisors Tuesday.
Fouts replaces longtime coordinator Debbie Smith who took a job with Amador County.
Fouts has worked at the county for six years as an extra hire in the County Clerk´s office.
She says she´s excited about the new job because elections are very important and the process is changing so much. Foutz says the new work will never be boring because there´s always something new to learn.
Fouts lives in Copperopolis with her husband Mike and two teenage boys.
