CHP Will Educate Public On Recruitment Process

Sponsored by:

Sonora, Ca — If you have ever wondered what it would take to join the California Highway Patrol, an informational meeting will be held next week to discuss the topic.

A recruitment seminar is scheduled for this coming Wednesday, July 18, at 6pm, at the Delta Blood Bank in Sonora. Officer Tom Wills says there is a list of traits that make for a good recruit. These include being level headed, having a good background (no felonies), using common sense, and enjoying working with people.

The seminar will last approximately two hours, and cover all aspects of the testing process. Recruiters will be available to answer questions and provide applications. No appointment is necessary.
